This photograph is of our 14-year old border terrier Ben (Border Terrier Webring). Actually Ben is a shared dog who flits between ourselves and a neighbour. Strange to relate, when he is with us his name is Ben and when he is with our neighbour his name is Zak. Why, is a long story but no matter as he answers to both names.

Of course there has to be a puzzle in there somewhere, and this is it!!

Change ‘ZAK’ to ‘BEN’ by altering one letter at a time. It can actually be done in 3 links, but I prefer the 4 links solution because it contains a nice appropriate doggie word in the middle.
